"Visited for a family funeral recently and the staff were so kind, polite and helpful. Greeted with a smile at every occasion and a warm Cooke on check in. Breakfast was lovely, not greasy and plenty to choose from. Gym was well equipped and air conditioned. Pool was warm and clean. I stayed in the newly refurbished rooms which were clean and spacious. "My partner and I stayed here after using their spa - which in itself made it worth the trip, the spa is lovely - and we stayed for a single night. There is a lot of parking, and it’s free! All the staff were incredibly nice and the breakfast was great quality. It’s a bit on the ‘older’ side and our floor was a little uneven, but the bed was super comfortable and I’d go back in a heartbeat!"

"It is a nice hotel in a good location with some faded glamour to it. Great sized room, though it is a bit of a walk if your room is in the 400s! The big down side was the Spa was very much in need of repair, showers out of order, toilets as well. Also if you want treatments make sure you book them before you arrive, there is very limited space."

"This hotel is gorgeous for a peaceful getaway. I stayed for my birthday and in the room was a card and some complimentary chocolates. Also complimentary sloe gin! The room is cosy and with everything you’d need. I was most impressed by the food here! I couldn’t believe the breakfast was included, you get a cooked meal from the menu as well as fruit and pastries from the buffet. I’d encourage everyone staying to book dinner at The Crown! The food was incredible and the staff very accommodating. "

"Great, centrally-located property. The appartment was modern, clean &spacious. The staff were friendly & helpful. I had a room above the pedestrianised area which meant there was a bit of noise from people leaving the pubs but it soon died down. I'd stay again."
