"Tiny home on the River! Comfy bed and great water pressure in shower. We love how close this home is to Greenville,SC. The outdoor center that this place is located on did not have live music or events happening while we were here. We could definitely see how this is a great summer spot with access to tubing/river access. We would definitely come back to this. Our dogs loved It. Only setback is you are so close to the other homes that if you’re wanting privacy you’re having to share common outside area with your neighbors."

"Our home-away-from home when visiting our Furman kid with our furry kid. Great setup inside and out for hosting our family and sometimes a few roommates for dinner & fire pit under the stars. Zip up to Furman or over to Doentown in no time. "

"This vacation home exceeded all of our expectations and truly felt like a home away from home. The house was spotless upon arrival and incredibly well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need—quality cookware, appliances, dishware, plus thoughtful extras like welcome snacks and basic pantry items.The game room was a huge hit with our group, offering a great variety of games, all in perfect condition. Every detail in the house felt thoughtfully considered, from the spacious dining area to the cozy lounging spots both inside and out. The outdoor space was even more impressive, with seating for 10 around the fire pit, beautiful lake views, and access to water activities and outdoor games like mini golf/tennis/pickle ball/volleyball/badminton.The location was ideal—close to Greenville, scenic hiking trails, and local attractions like the Hagood Mill Historic Site. We loved exploring the area but even more, looked forward to coming back to such a fun and relaxing place.Our host was incredibly responsive and informative, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Every member of our group commented on the quality of this VRBO. We can’t recommend this home enough and are already talking about a return trip!"

"Our family had a truly wonderful stay at Barndo on the Pond! The owners have thought of everything to make this place feel like a true home away from home. It was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. The serene land and peaceful pond provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing evenings around a cozy fire. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily visit Furman University and downtown Greenville. This place is undoubtedly a 10/10—we couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Highly recommend!! We will definitely be back!!"

"Katie was very communicative and the property was beautiful. There was some trash around the trees, but the outside sitting area and pod were clean and cozy. Being on the river was really nice and we would definitely visit again! "

"Finding a place to rent that is pet friendly can be difficult and in the past I have had to settle for not so great accommodations in order to bring my dog on vacation with me. This stay does not fall into that at all. The pet fee was very reasonable and the house was great. It's close enough to everything but tucked far enough away that it's a very relaxing environment. It's located perfectly between downtown Greenville, Travelers Rest and Easley so anything you want to do is only a short drive away. The house itself is great, it feels so big inside and there was more than enough room for my family. It snowed during our stay, so we did not attempt anything on the lake, but we did see several people taking snowy kayak trips. The host provided all the info we could need for our trip before our arrival and luckily nothing came up for us to need assistance but they were in contact with us throughout our stay so we were not worried about the what ifs. We look forward to staying here again and won't stay elsewhere unless this place is unavailable when we visit again."
