"Lovely, quaint bed and breakfast. The hosts were wonderful and friendly. Beautiful room with excellent bed. The jetted tub was great too! Would definitely recommend. Just off the Fitchburg State University Campus and a short drive from the John Adam’s Homestead. "

She not only cooks really amazing breakfast but she was so helpful when I wanted to check out the town. Her house is really truly beautiful and the lake is a little walk away from the house. "My wife and I were in town for a family gathering and spent three nights at Blue Bear Inn. The building is very quaint and homey, but has all of the amenities you need to provide a very comfortable stay. The location is very pretty with nice views. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices and the bartender knows his business well. All in all we enjoyed our experience and will definitely stay there again when return, "

"Had a wonderful stay, Elizabeth is a fantastic hostess, chef, conversationalist and all around humanitarian. Loved all the extra touches you don't get in a hotel, hot tea, organic apples, exquisite soaps, fine books and chimes from antique clocks. "Place was pristine, great location on the lake. Beautiful scenery with the mountains, used the kayaks to get around the lake and catch some fish! My son and i caught pickerel, perch, bass, crappies, and pumkinseeds. Quick drive from Boston @ a little over a hour."

"Everything about this property was beautiful. The home itself being located right on the water was perfect for kayaking, fishing, evenings by the fire, relaxing and reconnecting. The house is gorgeous, comfortable, and had everything you might need/want. We enjoyed the game room - jenga and family air hockey tournaments. A lovely experience and we hope to return at some point. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!"
