"Made to feel very welcome from the point of checkin, a wonderful warm welcome from the huge fire as well, we stayed in the gatehouse room , which is absolutely beautiful, and huge , very comfortable room, comfortable bed, and a huge shower, the room was lovely and warm. Our evening meal was delicious, and we were really looked after by a wonderful waitress. Who honestly went above and beyond to look after everyone. Our breakfast next morning was also delicious, and again the waitress was a wonderful lady who really looked after us. This is our 2nd stay at Hollybush and we will definitely be going back . "

"It’s a lovely cottage, spacious and homely, on a farm with view of fields, hills and sheep. It’s in a good location for visiting all the local historic areas. Hadrian’s wall, the Roman museums etc we even drove to Edinburgh on one of the days. "
