"It was a one night stop over while travelling from south to north. We were upgraded to a lovely room. Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Weather very disappointing, obviously no fault of the hotel."

We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. "Le lieu est magnifique mais les infrastructures ne sont pas au niveau. Les équipement de la maison sont en mauvais état, lampes non fonctionnelles, spot de sdb cassé, rideau de douche avec moisissures, poêles teflon usées….il y a une belle piscine très sale et le liner est mort, la piscine fuit donc rechargée 24/24 donc l’eau est glaciale, les transats sont usés donc inconfortables. Nous n’avons pas testé le retaurant…. La salle de billard est dans son jus comme la table . L’endroit pourrait...

"We stayed 2 weeks in this amazing property. Check in details were sent well in advance so we knew what to expect and email queries we had about the bbq and coffee machine answered quickly. The house itself is fantastic- spacious and roomy with everything you could possibly need. Yes the floors are creaky but it’s an old farmhouse and this just added to the charm. "Maison conforme à l'annonce. Très bien équipée et agréable (on s'y sent comme chez soi). Maison située dans un très bel environnement verdoyant. Piscine très bien. Tout est parfait pour les amoureux de la nature, du calme (proche de la ferme et des animaux). Pas loin de Thiviers où le marché est très sympa. Plusieurs visites de sites tels que Limoges, Nontron, Lac de Miallet, Ruines d'Abbaye, châteaux sans oublier celui de Jumilhac, petites villages et restaurants sympa. A refaire sans...

"The cottage is absolutely lovely and has everything one needs for a short or longer stay. Robert is a kind, considerate and generous host who gave us vegetables from his garden when we arrived. We had a great week there and enjoyed the quiet, rural location and private nature of the cottage and enclosed garden. We will definitely return! Highly recommended. "
