We had to insist they check again an provide an email verifying we were indeed booked for the night. "The hotel itself was nice and conveniently located to the Acropolis. Just a short walk away there were also a lot of nice cafes. Only minor negative points were extremely expensive drinks in bar and shower gel running out after day one of 5 and not being replenished - although I am sure if I had mentioned it would have been filled up."
