"Overall, very comfortable and location was very central. Well equipped except for cleaning materials. Off site parking was a challenge. The house could have been cleaner - there was food left in the fridge which we had to throw away. The outside table was very dirty. No antibac spray to clean it. Bathroom window didn't open nor did one window in the twin room. I wouldn't describe it as pet friendly as pets are not allowed upstairs where the main living accommodation is. "Great property,very well finished, fabulous comfortable main bed, loved the log burner for a cosy evening in. Very well situated to town, so everything on your doorstep we didn’t use our car for our stay at all."

"A hidden gem. Our room had been recently refurbished and had a comfy bed, decent tv, and a squeaky clean bathroom. The room is spacious and has new carpeting. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was freshly made to order and excellent. Great value. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. It’s obvious that the owners take pride in their business. Oh yes, and there’s a pub attached for a nice cold one after a long days travel. "

"The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom had high-end toiletries. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the delicious and freshly made food at the hotel restaurant."

"It was a fantastic nights stay, wish we could have stayed longer, as we were just passing through! The spa was amazing, lovely warm water temperature, great facilities with sauna and steam room, and really great planning to have family swim slots. The breakfast was delicious, great that it was included in the price of the room and staff so friendly. We stayed in the suite, not much extra a night but the room facilities were fantastic"
