"Lovely grand property awaits you when you drive in. We had a garden room in a newer part of the hotel. It's fair yo say it could do with a bit of facelift but nevertheless the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and extremely quiet. Buffet breakfast is very good - a huge choice for all including vegans. We tried the spa/pool which was really nice too! "

"All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Credit to them. The hotel is super. It really is special and in a lovely location. I would have given 5 stars, but the check in at 4pm and check out at 11:00 am, especially on a Sunday is just being mean/cheap. It did add a negative aspect to our stay as I have stayed stayed in 5 star hotels that have a check in at 3pm and check out at midday. I nearly booked another location because of this policy."

"Lovely place to stay. Rooms finished to a high standard. Everything you need is within walking distance. Make sure Expedia have emailed the entrance code. They forgot to send mine. It was sorted promptly by the hotel staff, needless to say after a long drive you dont need the bother."

"Absolutely lovely night at this hotel. Rooms are lovely and clean and very well furnished. We was returning from the aisle of Wight festival and they kindly let us check in very easily and early. Food was also amazing. We will definitely be returning."
