"We had a great stay in this beautiful barn conversion. The location is gorgeous and super convenient to the M4. House is tastefully decorated with great spaces, wonderful light & a big garden/patio as well. We were glad to find a place that had plenty of room and appropriate beds for 8 adults. We would definitely stay again."

"The cottage was gorgeous. It was small, personal and comfy. Everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We explored Lechlade, went to several pubs and ate out, as well as cooked in the cottage. I did lots of sketching, and went fishing with my boys. It was a great short break. Julia's property was perfect."

"Overall lovely, clean and comfortable. Some comments though A) Need additional signpost in the lane to get to the property B) the hottub was difficult to operate to get the correct temperature at the time we wanted to use it. An initial set up of the correct amount of wood in the stove would help as would more guidance of how long to leave and how much wood needed before water is at a comfortable temperature C) a couple of the showers were too hot to wash hair in , thermostat couldn't cool...

"Our stay here was absolutely amazing. Communication with Jessica was fantastic and she is such a joy! The house is absolutely everything you would want from a Cotswold Cottage. The location is perfect for a base from which to make daily day trips all around the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Just be sure to watch your head if you are like me, over 6 ft tall. "We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area "

"This house is beautiful and sparse. We were a group of 8 adults and the house did not feel crowded at all. Unfortunately, the BBQ shown in the garden images does not work, however this was not necessarily mentioned as an amenity in the listing. The only place this house loses points is in its cleanliness - this really was not up to standard, as mentioned in previous reviews. Shower drains were full of hair from previous visitors; multiple bedrooms had either old food, empty wine or water...
