"This was out first time at this amazing property. Scenic views of the lake from the comfortable couches on the deck. There was a lot to do, kayaks and paddle boat supplied. You can easily walk into the lake and swim to the float. The house itself was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable as was the couch. "We stayed last weekend at this beautiful house. Everything was as advertised and better. Our resident chef was impressed by the high end kitchen appliances and cookware. There were six of us and plenty of room to spread out. The hot tub, the pool, the game room, the deck, the fire pit. Something for everyone. "We like to meet up with some friends from Maine about once a year near the halfway point between us. Ray's Chalet is a great place to chill out and relax with friends and family. The Chalet is very clean and there's plenty of room for everybody. Great for grilling, lawn games, bonfires, etc. Ray adds a lot of nice touches as well, but I won't ruin the surprises for you. Great Stay Lots of Perks

"We arrived at 6:15 and we were pleasantly surprised a reception Happy Hour for guests went to 7 pm with 2 drinks each and snacks. In the morning the breakfast buffet and made to order omlettes went until 10 am and check out was at noon. It is nice they extend their hours for guests wirh varying schedules. The entire staff was super nice and friendly. The rooms and beds very comfortable. There is also a salon and spa attached which is an independently run, but it made it convienent for a hair appt. It was a great experience and value. "

Good value, but....

"Our only complaint was that you needed to put towel under door to make room dark. There was an approx 1.5 inch gap under the door. It also made room noisier from anything in hallway and required changing thermostat from heat loss, especially being in an end room close tom an exit. "
