"We had the most fantastic 3 night stay in the Pheasant hut for my fiancés birthday. The little extra touches were massively appreciated and we'd absolutely recommend the BBQ hut. I was a little nervous staying in January but the huts were warm and cosy. Huge shout out to Sean who was the perfect host - Excellent communication, great local recommendations and went above and beyond to help us when we were snowed in on the morning of check out. "We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do."
