"House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. The property was delightful - well appointed - very charming It was spotless. An added touch was access to Netflix and Amazon. "The property is in need of decoration, and maybe a new front door ? For the price, we expected a lot better. Don’t like the idea of a security camera pointing right at you in the back garden (and I don’t believe it has anything to do with security) Paying a fee for a deep clean ? "We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. The grounds were also well kept and we enjoyed walking around the garden. Would highly recommend the house to anybody wishing to find somewhere...
