"The house was beautiful and well stocked with everything you could need for an up north stay. The property was private and serene with all neighbors a good distance away. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach but you can easily drive and park along the road. Would definitely book and stay here again! "

"My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in...

"We stayed for half a week this August and it was exactly as described. Just be aware that this is a cabin near the lake, you will have to cross the street to get to the dock and expect lots of insects and spiders to be there too! "
