"The property and the room I stayed in was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows. I stayed in at this property in the winter, and room was quite cold when I got in, but did warm up. The breakfast area was quite cold, causing me to need to bring my food back to my room. The breakfast itself was disappointing as well after reading reviews that said there was a large variety. "We enjoyed 2 days at this lovely, vintage, lodge. If you like history, antiques, and God's beautiful creation, LOOK no more - THIS is where you want to be. There are 2 very lovely porches to enjoy your book or simply listen to the Au Sable & birds and a few steps down to the river for fishing. Great dining opportunities are close or up to 20 minutes away. We plan to stay here again!!"
