"We came up to see the fall colors and the sleeping bear dunes. This was in a perfect spot and everything we wanted was so close. It's walking distance to a great beach and park for the kiddos. We walked down every night to watch the sunset. The cabin was perfectly cozy."

"The house is in a good location for adventures in Glen Arbor and Traverse City. It was great to have so many towels and everything was clean (agree with other reviewer that more hooks would be helpful in the bathroom). Communication was excellent; very responsive."

Old barn 163 years old, and this 1bedroom has a rear entrance in this building.

"We stayed in B-4. Living room was very roomy, comfortable which made it easy to relax. Large couch and TV. Kitchen was a nice size and amenities were plentiful. It was quiet and peaceful. Bedroom was large with a king size bed and LOTS of closet space. Bathroom well lit and plenty of towels, etc. We would highly recommend it to all our friends and family "

"The property was clean with lovely views of vineyards and fields; beds were comfortable and kitchen was well provisioned with tools needed for cooking. The wrap around deck was lovely, and would have been a great place to veg, had it not been a chilly wet weekend! We highly recommend."

"Not the ritz but met our needs. House was well equipped, in good order and fairly clean, don't look under the bed. We liked the gas fireplace. The neighborhood seemed a bit run down but being a small town..."

"We had a wonderful stay at this barn house style home. We had two little ones with us and we appreciate all the amenities that were thought about for little kids. Even the extra mile of coffee, tea, and snacks were provided in the cabinets. As well as extra toiletries. Perfect for our big family, we enjoyed the bonfire outside and the seating in the front and back patio. Would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"The owner was great and very responsive to any needs we had. My husband, his brother, my sister-in-law and myself, are all late 60's early 70's. Property might not be ideal for some people our age because of uneven flooring. The layout is a bit funky, but such a great location. The front porch is a lovely place to sit and watch wildlife. The outdoor shower turned out to be great fun. The beds were so comfortable, but I would suggest to this owner to go out and purchase new bedding. The bedding...

"We had an amazing stay in Cedar. The hosts are very kind and accomodating. They took us on a tour of the farm, gifted us a dozen fresh eggs for our stay and a bundle of fresh picked lavendar at our departure. The view of the lake (and farm animals!) from the front porch is great. We enjoyed taking a short walk down to Lake Leelanau to swim and fish daily as well. Our kids ages 14, 11, and 9 had a great time as well!"

"Wonderful home with a communicative host. We had an issue with there being no hot water, but the host was on the spot correcting the issue. The property is a little further away from Interlochen Center for the Arts than I would have liked, but it’s still only a 7-minute drive (just not walkable). The home is well-maintained, great for folks or couples because all bedrooms have separate bathrooms. "

"Bed was comfortable. Hotel in general was clean and welcoming. The pool temp was perfect. The hot tub jets are kind of all over the place, not like typical hot tub jets. Breakfast was mediocre. Either the cereal or the milk tasted off; even with use by dates farther away. Waffles were good. No protein options, was really hoping for some bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, the omelets...something to go with my waffle. They had biscuits and gravy but im not a fan of that personally. Bedding was clean and fresh. Room was clean-no odors or anything."
