"This was our first time visiting Roatan, we had no idea what to expect but were absolutely blown away by how awesome this little island is! The house itself is in a quieter area and there are not many dining options, but taxis were readily available and we had no problems getting around! Wpuld absolutely stay in this home again!"

Cabana Guest Cottage on The Beach and Shaded by Lush Palm Trees

"This property was exactly what we had in mind, a cozy little Casita on the ocean. Even though it was small, the kitchen was very well stocked and the bathroom was also nice. The shower was hot and had great pressure! The dock was wonderful to go sit on and have coffee and breakfast. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even offering to do a load of laundry for us! We were within walking distance of restaurants and the Sandy Bay Dive shop. Victor, the security guard at night, really helped us...

"We had a good stay and enjoyed the house very much. The quality of the surfaces and linens were very good. The A/C worked well and kept the house cool. We, of course, did as requested and only turned on the A/C when we were in the house. The screened decks and surrounding trees made it seem like we were in a tree house! So nice. "This was a primo spot for us but might not be for everyone. To me, the only reason to go to Roatan is if you are a hard core diver or snorkeler. We loved this location because we could swim 250yards out to the reef every day and it was awesome. Crossing an active boat channel means being heads up, not for novices."

"Although it was just off of the water we were steps from the beach. Property is beautiful. 2/2 condos with full kitchens and large balconies. On property pool was fantastic with a swim up bar. Highly recommend!!"

"Very nice place. Limited amenities in the room but expected due to the price. Unit had a full kitchen with some utencils included. Clean and in good condition. Well worth the cost. Excellent location. Would be nice if they had a staffed office but for questions but understand why they dont. Definitely would stay here again."

"This hotel is amazing! The beachfront location is unbeatable and I loved how private it is even though it’s right on the beach. Service, food and drinks were great! Room was spectacular…looked exactly like the photos. I only wish the hotel staff would’ve warned me about how long it takes to get out of Customs at the airport. It took us almost 3 hours…would’ve taken an earlier flight if i had gotten a heads up about the situation. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the exceptional service—everyone, including the owners, was incredibly attentive and kind. The hotel itself is spotless, well-organized, and beautifully designed, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant was a true highlight of our experience. Every dish was homemade with high-quality, fresh ingredients, and the flavors were simply outstanding. The fish, in particular, was fantastic! Restaurant servers Eduardo, Anthony, Omar, and Eliot were fantastic! Although we didn’t get a chance to try the diving center this time, we’re definitely considering it for our next visit. Overall, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little resort. The owners Talia and Antonio, as well as all the staff, were so friendly, attentive and accommodating. We loved the peaceful little beach and being able to snorkel right off of the dock. Our cabana was cute and comfortable and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The food served in the restaurant was also delicious! We took colectivos to easily get into town, which is about a 10 minute drive. We had a perfect trip and highly recommend Puerta Azul to anyone looking for a small, boutique experience in a quiet and peaceful setting, with easy access to all that west Roatan has to offer."
