"We had a great stay and the house was super clean and modern. Hosts were great. Consider the 4 stars a 4.5 since it doesn’t give the option. The location was private but on a main road so not a place for quiet contemplation. But for us it worked perfect. Beds were awesome and got rested. They also have sound machines in the bedrooms. While we didn't end up using the kayaks and toys in the boat house (though we were very tempted), the view from the spacious sunroom was amazing and where my friends and I spent most of our time chatting and playing tabletop games during our stay. "Mt two children and I enjoyed our stay at John Paul’s place. This is a new renovation, so everything is very clean and new. Lake Serene was very pleasant and the host provides a kayak for two, standup paddleboards and two pedal boats. My children really enjoyed paddling around the lake and it made them sleep very well.
