"First time staying at this Doubletree here in South Bend, and all I can say is that it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and actually held a conversation with me while checking me in! He even gave me warm chocolate chip cookies for my family and I! The room was clean and the bed was a dream! The view of the river was the cherry on top. Loved the stay so much I booked an extra night. If we needed something, either from housekeeping or front desk, they made sure our needs were satisfied. If we are ever in the South Bend area again, I will book another stay there. "

"Had a king studio at the end of the hall, kids were running up and down the hall, also up and down the stairs, no consideration for people in the rooms. Parents need to parent. Staff needs to monitor hallways."
