"Jean-Marie was an excellent host, how was extremely accommodating, and helpful during our stay. The house itself was amazing, with the most beautiful view of lake Geneva and the town of Montreaux. Everything about this trip was amazing and my family and i had an excellent time."

"This place was mediocre and I probably would not recommend it for the price.. It was fairly spacious, had a decent view, walkable, good storage for clothes and the beds were comfortable. However, it was poorly maintained (light in bathroom was out with no bulb replacement, window shades broken), dated. dirty in some regards (stained towels, pots with stuck-on-food, cigarette smells, prior guests half eaten sandwich in fridge and socks on floor) and offered zero perks like some rentals. "Lovely location and good chalet. Just needs a bit of focus -dishwasher doesn’t work as jets completely chalked up. No towels or bedding in one of the bedrooms on arrival, although did fiz this quickly the next day after it was reported. Excruciating when the whole evening when you’re sat in the living area, the floor above scrape chairs across the floor making your ceiling shudder. Perhaps a bit of felt under the chairs legs?"

"We had a very pleasant stay in the French part of Saint-Gingolph. It was a great location for going hiking in the nearby mountains, and also for other activities around the lake. The house is nicely renovated and well equipped. It is clean and cosy and the hosts had provided us with all the information that we needed."
