We brought our kids to see the state park and dinosaur world in Glen Rose. The house was clean, fully stocked with amenities, and there was a beautiful view of the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. The house was spacious and clean. Although the older people couldn’t go down to the lake (80 steep steps) the others had a great time fishing on the nice pier. As an added bonus, we were all able to see the total eclipse while we were there!!!! It was a great stay!!!

My parents along with my family of 6 all stayed very comfortably! We loved the decor and gorgeous lake views! The owners were communicative and helpful. I would highly recommend this house!

Wonderful place!
The house and property were lovely. So cute and well appointed! Very clean and welcoming. The only thing we would change is the layout of the upstairs bathroom-- a wall needs to be removed! Otherwise everything was perfect.

Amazing Views
Rented this property for our Christmas vacation. You won't find a better view of the lake than the upstairs bedroom. Do yourself a favor and leave the curtains open to watch a morning sunrise you won't forget. Really enjoyed everything about our stay. Check in was incredibly easy, house was well stocked, and perfectly situated for our group. The below 20 temps in Texas certainly caught us off guard but the property owners stayed in constant contact and ensured we had everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this home if you're looking to stay anywhere in the Granbury area.

Home Away From Home
I chose this property because of how inviting it looked online. I booked it immediately but for the wrong dates by accident and Evolve quickly handled that mistake and changed the dates for me with no hassle. I booked a month or so in advance and they were very good about reminders. A few days before our stay the owners reached out about check in and made the whole process even more welcoming. They are very personable and will even check on you during your stay. The home was even more beautiful in person! Very family friendly with so many activities for all ages. We felt at home the entire time. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to all or friends and family.

Lovely house in a Peaceful setting
Great views of the lake, nicely decorated house and landscaped yard in a quiet neighborhood with a sense of seclusion and privacy. There were six adults and three children in our party. Plenty of space for us. Smallish kitchen but ample workspace, plenty of seating. Downstairs bathroom had walk in shower and grab bars. Kitchen could use a few upgrades and guests should not be put off by what appears to be a junk yard directly across the street- the house is at the bottom of a steep drive and the street isn’t really visible, plus the windows and views are at the back of the house. The backyard was perfect place for dining Al fresco or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Lots of trees and a variety of birds. It’s a VERY steep climb down to the lake and back up, but the young adults used it as their workout so it was great. Hosts were friendly and wonderfully responsive. We were there to attend a family reunion in Stephenville and would definitely return.

Great place- fun
The views of the lake are really maximized. Lots of places to be within the house. Several rooms 2 patios 3 fire pits. I think I underestimated the amount of stairs. Yes the listing was clear but it was much steeper than I expected. The stairs could use better lighting for dusk. The dock/boat slip area could be easily improved with rope lighting in the boat slip patio area. The oven did not cook evenly. Burned our breakfast. The gas tanks for the grill were empty and sadly were not replaced when asked. The dishwasher was broken and difficult to use. The skillets were not usable. BUT we were not there for those things. We were there for the fishing and family time. So … mission accomplished. Just wish the minor inconveniences were corrected. Great place. Cute outside and in. Nice set up and lay out. Beautiful view. Caught a lot of catch and release fish. Great memories made.

The location was quiet. The description doesn't mention that the bedroom with the twin beds is only accessible through another bedroom. The dishwasher racks were broken making the dishwasher unusable. There was also pet hair in the living room.

Nice place!
Me and a few buddies stayed here on a weekend golf trip and really enjoyed our stay. It's a nice house, with nice rooms and beds, with a long driveway for ample parking, and a great view of the lake while sitting in the backyard. Would definitely stay there again.

Family time
We enjoyed our stay at the Lake House. Plenty of room, beautiful decor, nice big kitchen with full size refrigerator and thankfully a dishwasher. Washer and dryer were brand new and nice to have for washing wet towels from playing on Lake Granbury. It was a good time for all. Rob and Tiffany, the Owners are great, respond immediately to any request.

Excellent Choice for Family Event
This property lived up to the photos and description online! It was decorated beautifully and had all the necessities PLUS more! The welcoming gift of S'more supplies was a thoughtful gesture. The beds and linens were top notch! We cooked most meals and used all the appliances and grill and it was great! Hosts were prompt to reply with questions and clarification! I highly recommend this property!

Perfect Family Getaway
This property is just as described and pictures are accurate. This was a birthday/Christmas family getaway with 8 ppl, so there were alot of things we were looking for in a rental to please everyone. Being next to the water, fishing, firepits, kitchen suitable for many homecooked meals, real beds for all, games, clean and well stocked, things to do nearby, and overall great area. This home had all that and more! You couldn't beat the views, the beds were soooo comfortable, and the whole experience will forever be a memory for our family. The hosts were very responsive and even checked in on us during the stay to make sure everything was going well. Definitely recommend this property, it's a must on your getaway list!

Beautiful home that is now apart of our family story
This property was just as described and is now apart of our family story. We had a great time from fishing, beer pong and just chilling to watch TV. We had all the kitchen items needed to cook our food. This place will hold a special place in our hearts as our son decided to ask his girlfriend to get married this weekend, and we didn't know. But the stairs up to the grassy area of the yard played the perfect part in his proposal! As she came up from the stairs he was on his knee! It couldn't have been any better! Thank you for letting us use your home!

Beautiful home that is apart of our family story now!
This home was a great place to stay! It is decorated so cute and was so clean! We had a great time fishing, playing beer pong and just chilling watching TV. They had all of the kitchen items needed to cook and plenty of towels! This place will hold a special place in our family because our son decided to ask his girlfriend to marry him here! It was so beautiful! He asked her as she came up from the dock and the top of the stairs and your lawn just made the perfect spot to him! So glad we chose this place because it was beautiful for his impromptu proposal!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovey home! Hosts were great, very thoughtful and accommodating. The boat dock is quite a hike from the house, but they were very upfront about that so we were not surprised! Just be aware that anyone with mobility issues likely won’t be able to get there. It worked out perfectly for us!

Amazing house with stunning view!
House was beautiful and very clean. New decor everywhere, stunning view, fresh clean linens and towels, and well stocked kitchen with spices and essentials. Owners were very communicative and helpful. We had a amazing weekend here and we will definitely be back. Thank you!
