"The cabin was amazing - spotless and so comfortable. It was one room but incredibly spacious with a full kitchen set up. The area was "country" and so peaceful and quiet. I did not mind the spotty cell service (my provider) as I just wanted peace. And the welcome basket had incredible honey cinnamon raisin sourdough bread! If you want a lovely, quiet stay, you can't do better."

"My friends and I loved this place! It was very clean, very welcoming! As soon as we entered and walked around the property, we knew we should have booked an extra day. The bedrooms were all very spacious, and there was plenty of extra blankets and bedding for us all to get cozy :) We had a very relaxing weekend- the kitchen was a delight to use and the paddleboat was so, so fun!! "This is not a rental where the pics look nice and when you arrive you realize it’s filled with cheap furniture and run down finishes. It is obvious these thoutful hosts take great care of their property and their guests. Everything was immaculate from the yard to the dock to the furnishings inside. We were welcomed with all the supplies for smores (including firewood any fire starters) and they put out the kayak as they knew we wanted to use it. "I came for a personal retreat to enjoy silence and solitude and I was not disappointed. The cottage is lovely, well maintained, and clean, surrounded by hundreds of trees. My trip was topped off with a beautiful snowfall. I look forward to returning during another season to see the gardens in bloom.Heather and Ned are gracious hosts."
