"My wife, our dog, and I had a terrific stay at the Sugar River Treehouse- we were in town for a few days to ski and spend New Years here, and couldn't have asked for a cozier place to stay in the woods of NH nearby a river! The outside area produced perfect morning & evening walks with the pup, and the new house with updated features (our favorite was the heated bathroom floors) was located very close to town with restaurants and amenities. We would happily stay here again!"

"We stayed over the long weekend for a ski vacation with three families, and found this property to be exactly what we needed. Hot tub was nice. The owner lit a fire in the fire pit outside to keep us toasty when we came back from a day of skiing. He even came out in the morning and cleaned off our cars after a snowstorm. Overall excellent experience. Would stay here again!"

"To a person (ages 9-80) we all were very happy with your Lovely vacation home. The space is conducive to being alone or all together, it truly does not show as well online as it is in person. The one mile drive to Mt Sunapee could not be better. Everyone is looking forward to a future trip there. blessings to you in 2025"

"I was here with my girls and their kids to visit my mom and my sister who live in NH and havent got to visit in 4 yrs. Was the perfect space for everyone to visit and spend time together. Everything was perfect as far as space and beauty and luxury."

"My wife, our two dogs, and I, had a lovely few days at Grey Gables. The cottage was clean, cozy, and only steps from the lake, private dock, and sitting area. Communication was excellent. We will definitely be back. "

"Beautiful leaves in reds, oranges, and yellows reflected in a gorgeous pond with a pair of loons slowly floating by....Perfection! What a gorgeous location! We had a great stay- the kitchen was wonderful to cook in- we loved the gas stove- bacon tasted so delicious with croissants in the morning! "The charming home is very remote and private. Updated kitchen and bathroom providing all amenities you could want. Comfortable beds, but master is very tall. Although the living area futon seating provides extra sleeping options, they are not the most comfortable for sitting/lounging. A softer chair or two would be welcome. Lovely deck for lake watching. Frogs aplenty!"

"Plenty of space for four families with seven children ranging in ages from 1 to 13. The kids loved the game room and gigantic sectional & TV in the living room (and parents loved that the kids were just a room away when we were in the kitchen/dining area). Tons of fridge space, meal prep space, and seating, so we never felt like we were in anyone's way while making plates for the kiddos. Pack a sweatshirt - the A/C is strong! "Great location and house! Right on the water with a dock for your boat, with a boat launch down the street. Lots of beds and the game room is awesome. Keep in mind there is no AC, so it gets really hot at night. They have 4 box fans but you may want to bring one from home. No dishwasher but they have everything you need, but I would bring disposable supplies. The host was great and very responsive. Definitely recommend this place! We stayed over the Fourth of July and the location was perfect....

"We were VERY pleasantly surprised to see a Christmas tree and a fully decorated house! The kids absolutely loved it. That said, the house in general was child friendly in every way - dinnerware and utensils, toys, appropriate sleeping options, and others. It was perfect for meeting familu from all over!"
