"Overall the rental had brand new amenities and was very quaint. It was about a 30 minute walk up a very steep hill (>15% grade) from the town center. It was about a 35 minute drive to the major town of Iseo. The water taxi to Mont Iseola is very close by and it was a lot of fun exploring the island. The host was prompt and check in/out was easy. "This was mine and my husband’s first time in Italy, we stayed in Lovere for three nights out of our trip. Carmelo and Fabrizia were such wonderful hosts. They made the check in/out process very easy, and promptly answered any questions I had. The apartment is in a GREAT location, a block from the lake and the main town square. Restaurants and grocery store are just around the corner and the town is the perfect size if you are looking for something quieter than Iseo. The house itself is plenty spacious and very well kept.
