"Great location and friendly and helpful staff"

"I have traveled around the world for more than 20 years and I have never been treated so rude by a hotel staff. When I paid Expedia it showed that the city Tax was included but the staff said "no". "The hotel is set in a small village on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Como. The view is gorgeous, the restaurant was awesome and the staff are so lovely. I didn’t find the room particularly comfortable but we stayed in the least expensive room so perhaps the more expensive ones are a bit cozier. Our room was very basic and a bit run down but it’s an old building and has a lot of charm. Overall, it’s lovely but if you want luxury, I would recommend upgrading your room to a suite.
