"We had a great stay at Buggl in Bach for two weeks. The homely, clean and comfortable chalet, perched on the hillside, offered spectacular views and peaceful rural charm. Our hosts provided excellent accommodation, a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The information provided was accurate and comprehensive; with books, games and jigsaw puzzles for a few wet days really appreciated. Beautiful hotel

"The hotel is one of the least attractive buildings on the lakefront from the outside, which is a shame, but inside it’s been done to a really high standard. Communal areas and rooms are lovely, and the hotel is kept spotlessly clean. Location is great - it’s elevated a bit from the lake so there are great views. Breakfast is very good and staff are welcoming."

"Wonderful hotel with great amenities, including access to the swimming pool and a complimentary buffet breakfast. It's in a lovely location, right on the banks of Lake Bled. We opted for a "Park View" rather than a "Lake View", which meant our balcony was overlooking the car park and the road, so was a little noisy during the day. Next time we would pay the extra for a lake view. Despite that, we loved our stay and would absolutely return to this hotel. "

"The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "
