"Through early research queries and then the booking process Mary was very quick to respond and recommended exactly the right house for us (Couples). Her mum, who is a lovely person and lives close by, was there to greet us and help us with any issues. The views are magnificent and sunset in the jacuzzi with a glass ot two is not to be missed. Stoupa is a lovely seaside village with plenty of options for eating and was not over touristy during our stay (early June). Highly recommended."

"Plus: Wonderful terraces overlooking Kalamata. Negative: This is a stone house and can be quite cold. We successfully heated the living room area, but could not heat the lower bedroom. Also the house is a long way up a winding road and somewhat out of town."

"What a wonderful stay we had. It is out there in the countryside up in the mountains away from everything. Very easy to find though. Beautiful views. Filanthi provided so many treats for us. We had a small problem with the washer, but it was probably just our lack of knowledge of European washers. Would highly recommend!!"

"Like the name says this is a mountain resort. You will have a very windy Road up the mountain to the resort, but the drive is worth it. Great views. Our stay was in October and we were one of two couples at the resort so very quiet. The restaurant was not open when we got to the Resort. We didn’t expect to have a meal there. We were able to have a few glasses of wine in the bar before it closed at nine and the gentleman that worked that night was very helpful. The morning breakfast was very...

"Great stay, close to everything and nice short walk from there to main town. Manager was very nice, as were the cleaning staff, everything was modern and well maintained, bed was very comfortable and having washing machine and dryer on site was a great help."

"Lovely small hotel minutes from Mystras archeological site. Spectacular location and views. Extremely comfortable and modern room. If it had not been Winter and we stayed inside, the rooms with balcony would be wonderful. The heating was needed in our room in December but very good and cosy. Very friendly and excellent breakfast. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant- very good. Would definitely recommend staying here."
