"Lovely setting overlooking the Illinois river. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and seating for our family reunion. The fireplaces indoors and outside were great. We loved the piano, which was in tune, for our sing alongs. And the large deck outside was wonderful for enjoying morning coffee and bird watching on the river. The water supply is from a well so bring bottled water for drinking and coffee making if you don‘t like the heavy iron taste of well water. Make sure to catch sunset over the river."

"This was an adorable little house in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was responsive to my phone call. She listed the property as pet-friendly for dogs only and although the property was clean, it had pet hair on all cloth surfaces like couches, blankets, and rugs. The attic is quaint but was freezing! The outlets in the attic also didn't work but it is possible that they were attached to a light switch that we didn't notice. Thank you for a comfortable stay!"

"This Cozy Cottage was the perfect place to stay near Peoria. I was in the area for a conference at the Peoria Civic Center and was glad I was able to save on money by not staying in a hotel. The property is only a short 15 minute drive to downtown. The home was very clean and well decorated."
