"Beautiful place,perfectly situated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is great (though the coffee included with breakfast isn't so good). My only suggestion would be to set the room temperature so guests can't tamper with it, one of the occupants cranked it up to sauna levels, which is neither customer nor eco-friendly. Otherwise, it was close to perfect and I'd stay again"

It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. "We had a private room with shared bathroom in the Rivoli Cinema Hostel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance to most of the sights, tours and supermarkets. The kitchen was well equiped, the shared bathrooms were clean and our room was comfortable. It is a bit noisy with the traffic, but it is to be expected on this location.The staff was fun and very helpful. The cinema theme is everywhere, in all the small details! Great home base in Porto!"

"Great hostel, owner is super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Place is just a 10 minute walk to the main area of Gaia and Porto, so its quiet, but also convenient.
