"Enjoyed the space very good "

"A lovely guest house, room was spacious and the hosts could not have been more welcoming. They spoke very good English. The breakfast was traditional german breakfast with the addition of muffins and croissants. A good selection with homemade jam as well! Unfortunately we stayed in 30 degree heat and so with no air conditioning, the room was very hot but nothing the hosts could do about this. It was a quiet guest house so we could leave our room door open and the window open to get a gentle breeze to cool the room before bed. There were window shutters which kept the midday sun out. There was an added bonus, with paying the tourist tax, free entry to the outdoor swimming pool which is open til 8pm so we were able to go there to cool down. It had a slide, diving boards, lane swimming, jacuzzi benches, and various other features, which the whole family loved."

"Lovely little boutique hotel. We had beautiful rooms with everything we needed. Parking was easy and right in front of the entrance. Staff was friendly and responsive and the breakfast food was delicious and thoughtfully made. At first, the breakfast buffet doesn’t look very plentiful, but everything is refilled quickly and eggs and smoothies offered after you sit down. Enjoyable stay!"

"Property was excellent, only thing I would add on the hot days is a second air conditioner for us Americans who are used to cold air. The WiFi is not great for working but fine for browsing the web. Area is beautiful, house is very clean and well equipped and the owner is available at all times. "

"Such a fantastic place - we felt so fortunate to have found this listing and to have stayed here! This gorgeously renovated apartment in the former cigar factory, now renamed "Palais Wunderlich" by the owners, was our home for 4 days over the holidays, and it could not have been better. Everything is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable bedroom and living spaces on the main floor, to the upstairs loft bedroom and sitting area. The Hugenberg family were incredibly kind and helpful, providing restaurant recommendations ahead of time and also information on holiday closings of shops, etc. There's a courtyard and garden that would be lovely for warmer weather, and a magnificent garden room with a wood stove that guests can use as well. One thing I did not realize from the listing is that, depending on the owners' schedules, coffee, tea, and snacks are available in the "lobby" off the courtyard, which is such a nice touch. And guests can choose from a wide selection of wines, beer, and other drinks. Don't forget to try the amazing homemade jam, too! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We are hoping to come back again."
