"Amazing cabin for a getaway. There’s an awesome hot tub you can star gaze in. You get to explore, feed exotic deer and it’s so close to the river you can walk. Very quiet and so relaxing.The cabin was gorgeous and very clean. Karen and John were amazing and let us know they were there if we needed anything. They surprised us with all kinds of amazing homemade treats and even surprised my kids with s’mores. Such a sweet and friendly couple.Would 100% recommend and we hope to go back again!!!"

"the cabins have a great spot overlooking in the river and its a quick drive to the state park. Sometimes there was road noise, but it was nice and quiet and night. The cabin was clean and efficient and my walks down on the riverbed were peaceful and quiet"

"I took my son here for his 8th birthday, the location is literally perfect, right down the road from the park itself and right on the river? Could not have asked for anything better. "It was so relaxing. It was located right outside of Colorado bend state park. It was just a couple minute drive to get there. The general store down the road had some nice live music for the family. The property had areas for campfires and grilling and we took advantage of this. The owner was also very accommodative with my requests.. I’ll be coming back"

"Well, hmmm, the concept was great but the attention to detail was extremely lacking….it certainly would be a tight sleeping arrangement/ squeeze for 4 adults, there were 3 of us. And for starters: Couch was filthy, ladder to the loft …we are in our 60s and was sketchy for our age group AND, Im a pretty adventurous soul and grandma, would NoT want my Grands attempting that ladder to the loft…shower curtain mildewed, coffee pot wasn't working properly… rain came thru the bottom of the door....

"Melissa and Bob are the most gracious and helpful hosts. We spent 3 months there to escape our home state winter. Acres of land to explore. Great bass fishing. The dogs are very friendly. The horses Roy and JR, and the donkey Jack are a hoot. All very friendly. Still can say enough about Melissa and Bob, wonderful people. The house had everything we needed for cooking, relaxing and cleaning. The WiFi is super. There is a fiber optic line running thru the property so I suspect they are connected...

"My guest and I were very pleased with the the home. Great open layout, very clean, roomy. Communal areas were large for entertaining. "The problem with this rental is a lack of adequate heat. We arrived on a bitterly cold December night a few days before Christmas.
