LOL Another must the Belizean Spice Farm where you smell, taste, crush and rub things on your body, just mind blowing. Best biology class I ever had. They give you a fruit that is sour, a bit down the trail they give you these seeds and give you the sour fruit again and it is like sugar.In Punta Gorda if you are looking for maracas or a awesome sounding mahogany skin drum go to port authority and ask for Rodney/BamBam both sound incredible!"

"Florette was wonderful and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. Loved my comfortable room that has everything I needed, including hot plate, microwave and fridge. You can walk to the center of town where everything is, along the waterfront in 10 minutes. I took the ferry to Guatemala one day. There's no air conditioning (typical in Belize), but this isn't a problem since you're right on the ocean and there are plenty of fans. What was a problem is there were no screens on two windows, and the traditional windows are venetian-style slats, so they don't seal. I was covered with mosquito bites every morning. This in a country where Dengue is an issue. It's a wonderful place, just confirm the room you're in has screens on ALL the windows."
