Brand new and fully equipped, this stunning chalet boasts 6 bedrooms all featuring en-suite bathrooms to comfortably sleep 14 guests. There are three living areas; the first with a custom fir pool table; the second, a media room with flat screen TV; and the third with a 2 sided wood burning fireplace.

Each living space is furnished with oversized couches and chairs, unique contemporary artwork and finished off with drapes and cushions in earthy hews which add comfort and warmth. Other features include; geothermal hydronic radiant heat warming the slate floors, the home, and your feet; stained concrete counter tops, top end appliances, large dining table, hot tub with waterfall , back door access to the cross country ski trails and large picture windows opening to stunning views of the snow capped peaks. Cozy Thanksgiving weekend.
Beautifully well equipped home. All the things you need to make your own meals and cozy in. Rooms are spacious and everyone having their own bathroom is a game changer. Will definitely be back.

Good stay in Golden
My large family group loved our stay in this home. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom which was a real treat after staying in smaller accomodations for the beginning of our trip. The house is spacious and well taken care of for the most part. The house is a bit out of the way of actual downtown Golden, but we enjoyed the drive up the mountain each day coming back. Only complaint is that many of the bathroom windows did not have curtains and so when showering it felt that the neighbors could look in on us. Curtains in the rooms did not always work or were jammed when we got there. The host had good communication wjth our family and answered al pur questions. We definitely would want to stay again!

This is a beautiful upscale home. Every room is spacious and luxurious. Every bedroom is an en-suite, the kitchen has everything you need, and there are several living areas to spread out in. The location is quiet and convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property!
We stayed in this house as part of a little golf trip, and absolutely loved it! The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very easy to use. Beds were very comfy and each room having it's own bathroom was perfect! We loved the pool table and quite enjoyed the hot tub after a few rounds of golf. Only comment would be that we wished there was more than 1 TV in the house. Maybe one in the pool room or by the fire place. Regardless we absolutely loved our stay and Gabriel was fantastic to work with. Very responsive, coordinated and ready to help if needed. Check-in and out was a breeze. Looking forward to next year! Thanks again!

Great Ski Trip
We had a great time staying here. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to ski to the lifts and an easy ski home. The house is large with a great kitchen. There was more than enough space for our group. We will definitely book here again if/when we come back to KHMR.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our group of 12. Sleeping arrangements can be made up in Kings or Singles. Great for all types of groups. The kitchen is well stocked. Plenty of seating in common areas for your entire group. Pool table is a nice touch to pass time. Large hot tub on covered patio. Gabriel is very communicative for all your needs throughout your stay. Will definitely be back!!

My dad's Celebration of Life
The accommodations at Grizzly Chalet suited our group very well. There were enough rooms and space to gather and spread out when needed. What a beautiful place. Very comfortable and well stocked. Love the very large table as we could gather for many fantastic meals. A great way for family to come together to say goodbye to our dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, husband and friend.

3 families with young adult children.. we all had a great time in the spacious house and huge super well stocked kitchen. with so much room, and bathrooms with every bedroom, we had all the privacy needed. loved the hot tub. went biking with a neighbor/local who showed us great trails. kept busy with all the outdoor activities available (hiking, biking, golf, via ferrata, white water rafting and saw Boo the bear...) 15 min drive to Golden. 1 hour to Lake Louise. be aware of Hwy 1 closures at night - during weekdays. House was Awesome!!

We were 4 adult couples that stayed at the property in mid-June. We found the property to be very nice and roomy and well appointed (from kitchen/grilling utensils, towels for the hot tub, high-chair and safety gates for children, to even hand-knit foot coverings at the front door if you wanted to use them). The beds were all very comfortable (and our parents who are in their 80's and often have issues with beds and their backs even thought they were very good). Neighborhood was quiet and backyard is private. The only "issues" we encountered were fairly insignificant - namely a) curtains in pool room/doors to the grill were jammed and couldn't be opened and thus had to simply be pushed aside, b) toilet seats didn't sit well on the stool and would shift a little startling a person, and c) getting live TV was doable, but difficult to navigate. We found Gabriel (owner of the property) to be very responsive and available throughout the entire booking/stay.

Great spot for a family or friend ski gathering
This was such a beautiful cabin! We were a group of friends up for 5 days to ski and it was perfect. We were concerned it would be a bit of a trek to the mountain when we looked at google maps, but you just needed to walk about 5 ish minutes to get on a groomed trail all downhill to the resort, and then the ski out at the end of the day brought you right to the end of the street! Having the pool table and hot tub for multiple simultaneous activities was great too, since we were a larger group. And each room having its own on suite definitely helped at the end of a ski day when we all wanted to shower. We put the couple with the baby in the front room, and the rooms seemed well enough sound proofed that he never woke up from the noise of the rest of the adults downstairs after he’d gone to bed! Thank you for having us!

Beyond Expectations!
This house was absolutely gorgeous. It was clean, open, fully stocked and had more than enough space for three families with kids to spread out. We used the kitchen everyday to cook meals, the hot tub to relax after hiking, the great room to play cards and do puzzles, and the theater room to play movies for the kids. We even took advantage of the location and used the nordic trail system for runs. We will be back!
