"The hotel was nice - had a little issue in my room with the carpet but they responded quickly. There were a few dogs on my floor that barked frequently but that isn’t the hotels fault. It was convenient and a good price for an overnight stay on the way home. Will stay there again"

Golconda is a small inviting town that is best visited on the weekend. We found some of the places we wanted to visit closed because they are only open Fri-Sun. We were just passing thru, but I definitely would come back to see Garden of the Gods.

I stayed at this location under the previous owners as Michael's motel I would give it a 5 star review. With new management and conditions it would get a zero star review. Will never stay at unity lodge again.
