"Wir waren in der sehr schönen Wohnung mit wunderbarem Ausblick sehr glücklich. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, um uns wohl zu fühlen. Gefallen hat uns vor allem, dass wir vom Haus aus loswandern konnten und an malerischen Häusern vorbei bald mitten in der Natur am Berg waren. Maultiere, Esel, Ziegen, Kühe und Schafe auf den Weiden erfreuten uns sehr. Der Weg über die Kirche "Maria Licht" und den Kreuzweg hinab in den Ort Trun gefiel uns auch gut. "This place did not disappoint. The views are identical to the listing. The chalet is cozy and we felt right at home. We took advantage of the fondue sets and made an amazing dinner at home away from the crowded restaurants. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept great. I hope my family can return in the future!"

"Super Host who provided a guided tour of the town. Apartment was very well stocked with local food samples. Easy walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We used this as a location to take the train into Lucern. A 20 minute train ride. Newly renovated apartment. Would definitely book again."

So it’s a bit farther out of downtown than it seems, but we had a car and it seemed public transport was close by. Showers are quite small, but normal for Europe. Beds are very firm,but fine for a short trip. Kitchen has basic essentials. We had to wash some of the bedding when we arrived on two beds as they smelled used and sweaty. "The photos of the property do not do it justice. It is FANTASTIC. We celebrated my 60th birthday with a trip to our beloved Grindelwald. My 86 year old dad traveled with us. We got a hotel by the train station (the Derby) at which we've enjoyed staying on previous trips. He would not have handled the 45 steps to Chalet M very well. "The property was in a location close to Grindewald Terminal train station and Grindewald Gund bus stop. The chalet was well maintained and had beautiful views of the mountains. It was away from the "main" street of downtown Grindewald which provided a quiet neighborhood without all the hustle and bustle. The property owner was quick to respond with a couple of needs we had. It was overall an excellent experience."
