Great
Everything was great host was the best super friendly couldn’t have been any better
It is an older property that has been remodeled, the kitchen is amazing anything you could want and then some. The only this I wish would be storage in the kitchen and bathroom. I moved out of a cab it so I could put food and seasoning in it. The bathroom has some beautiful tile and looks great but the only place set anything is the back of the toilet so I had my water pic on the kitchen counter. But it was very cute and the hostess so helpful and kind.

Disappointment
House description and photos advertised two bedrooms and five rooms sleeping eight. One bedroom was sealed off when arrived. We were refused use of it for even the storage of our empty suitcases. Purportedly, it was "being worked on". Also, unless there were two more double beds in that room, we don't know where eight people would have slept. The room pictured with a sofa was a converted, unheated, porch, no sofa and useless in cold weather.
Two of the three tvs required adjustments by the hosts. The kitchen unit never worked properly. There was a permanent note that the refrigerator did not produce ice. It would have been nice tow know that prior to arrival. The hosts were cordial and reasonably responsive to our problems but the excluded bedroom soured our stay. We appreciated that the owner was quick to provide a "jump" to my dead car battery upon our departure. We feel that we paid too much, considering the loss of the bed room.
Great location for visiting family in the area. Convenient to grocery and other stores, churches and attractions around Alton and Grafton, IL as well as a short ride to St. Louis.
Owner very responsive.
This is the cutest house! Each room was well appointed and the decor was just beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything I needed.
I locked myself out once and the owners were great. They sent a locksmith within 10 minutes and he even made me a key just for my peace of mind. It is close to a grocery store and mall, and some great restaurants - Chic n Pig, The Round Table, Duke Bakery. A great place to unwind and relax. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to anyone.
