The receptionist on the 17th floor was very patient, kind and went out of her way to ensure all of my needs were met including accommodations, breakfast, and the limousine bus to the airport. The General Manager, Kevin Kim, who was overseeing the breakfast was remarkable and I was treated by him as if I was family. The breakfast buffet was a fantastic fusion of fresh Korean and western style offerings. My only disappointment was the sparse gym. The hotel is also close to several subway and bus stops and conveniently located near the Lotte department store and all of the amazing food vendors. Thanks again Mr. Kim for a great stay.

Insadong is in the art and diamond district, theres plently of shops and souvenirs around, plus restaurants too. The hotel is tucked away a little and can feel a little unsafe for the short walk along the pavement if you are alone. There are lights, though. The cafe area in the lobby was shut, but it is attached to a 'CU' which is similar to 7eleven. Theres a massage place in the lower ground floors and a lot of close transport connections. I asked for my room to be made up 10 minutes after the cleaners were meant to have finished at 3pm, but when I came back later that day they had cleaned my room which was so lovely! You get 2 bottles of water a day and they also give slippers and robes which is not something I expected. Great bonus. I didn't really enjoy the wet room since there was only 1 mirror in the room and it was in the bathroom. The wetroom got everything wet when you went in the shower. The room was a little tight around the bed and the wall to get round to the couch area and table, but not a big problem for me. Overall, it was a really nice place and I would go back if I wanted to stay in the same neighborhood.

Not very walkable to Seoul Station but taxi ride only cost 5,000 won. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good with variety for every tastebud.

We could figure out the AC and I am not even sure if AC is controlled in the room. The room was stuffy and very hot. We ended up opening windows to cool off the room. The shower had signs of mold in the corners. But we loved three beds in the room so the kids didn’t have to share a bed, big bathroom, a lot of space, walking distance from KTX train station and subway, many options for food.
