"Rosemary was very hospitable indeed! I relied on public transport and so it was a little more challenging, once I got used to where I was going I was fine, Rosemary always looked things up for me without even me asking her! She even made me dinner one night which was very kind of her! One day she drove me to a train station! Thank you for everything Rosemary!"

"We needed somewhere close to ferry terminal to catch early ferry next day. This was most convenient, providing everything we needed. (Can recommend nearby Olderfleet Pub for a good evening meal). When we told our hostess that we would have to leave before breakfast, she graciously offered to make us breakfast, including scrambled eggs, at 6.30. "

"We loved the view out the window, the separate entrance to our bedroom, the spacious bathroom with the heated towel racks, the breakfasts were delicious and the common areas with fireplace were cozy and welcoming. "Botanic Rest B&B was clean and basic. It lost points for noise and safety. When we checked in we took our suitcases up the stairs. About halfway to our room in the hallway on a few stairs up, a man was doing some repairs in the doorway to a room. His tools (including an electric screwdriver) were in the middle of the stars and hallway. We had to move them, so we could get past. Pretty unsafe. The breakfast was nice. They had the usual continental breakfast and you could order hot items off...

"Shocking! From checking in to be told i was going to have to pay an extra £20 for the room ! And no breakfast included ! ( I wouldn’t have wanted to eat anything from there) but that wasn’t the point. The place was smelly and dirty. I will never book with this site again. "
