"The owner met us there and had the fire going. He was very nice and gave us a lot of pointers on where to go and what to see, not your typical tourist attractions. We were there for a few nights for our honeymoon and he had a little surprise waiting for us when we got there. If your looking for a quiet cool little place to stay I would highly recommend staying here. Our only negative was the bed was a little small for someone who is a bit taller."

"Absolutely amazing location!! Beautiful views out every window! Perfect place to stay for touring the Isle of Skye. While there were a lot of high end (luxury) things in the house, it really isn't meant for 6 adults.Perhaps 4 medium sized people. The rooms were tiny and luggage had to be left in the living room. A single couch isn't enough for 6. The kitchen was pretty small for trying to cook in and the counter stools were too big for sitting in if anybody needed to get anywhere. The sun room...

The house it pretty centrally located to most skye treasures and the hosts did a brilliant job decorating and stocking the place to make it extremely welcoming for us. "ARUS is a very nice modern home - spacious and great views. It has all the amenities that a person / family would need for a stay on the Isle of Skye. It is a short distance from Portree by car but perhaps too far to walk frequently into Portree (2 miles). The property was clean, quiet, and very comfortable."

"We had a great time on Skye, staying at Shore Cottage. It was just what we needed as a group of 3 couples travelling by van. We were able to spread out and relax. the views across the water to Portree and the Old man of Storr, first thing in the morning was fantastic. Well appointed with everything you need, great cooking facilitys and washing machine etc, to catchup with the laundry. A great place for a relaxing stay."
