"Excellent budget option with handy onsite parking. Staff really friendly. Happily changed our room as the shower was faulty. Second room was lovely given price. Communal hallways a bit out of date but rooms and other parts were perfect. Would definitely repeat. Very good location for restaurants etc and racecourse. "

"We had such a lovely stay, we checked out this morning and the place was super clean, beds and pillows really comfortable and lots of coffee/teas in the room. We will definitely be staying again, super close to the town centre of Bury St Edmund’s, just a 15 min drive which was ideal for us! We paid for breakfast this morning which was really tasty and we didn’t have to trek far, just across from the room. "

"The Bushel staff were so friendly and helpful and allowed us a slightly earlier check-in to attend my daughter's wedding. The location of the hotel was perfect in the centre of Bury St Edmunds with the addition of free parking. The breakfast was good and the portions excellent. We had drinks at the bar & all the staff we dealt with were great. Thank you for providing a very comfortable stay in Bury St Edmunds."
