"Fantastic! ...sums it up really. We booked late, but the property manager/landlord quickly got in touch and helped us through the process. Professional yet friendly. The apartment itself was nice and clean, with a lovely huge bath and decent shower. The kitchen was well equiped and open plan with dining area and lounge. The lounge has a computer desk by the window for work, but also a huge comfortable sofa. Sky Glass is a great addition - a nice massive 4K TV with all streaming apps...

Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed"

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"the property looked clean and the bed was comfortable. however the lack of internet connection through the wi-fi was a great inconvenience. there was no national tv service except using one's won netflex log-in. I guess this is because there is no tv licence covering the premises. there was a good 30 min walk to the town centre, no 10 min as stated. overall the property was comfortable but inconvenient in the above mentioned. "

"Donna was a great host! Responded very quickly, and the check-in instructions were very detailed and helpful. The place was very clean and well stocked; a small kitchen with all the items you’d need, and the bathroom was very clean and well presented. "We were very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was in a poor state of repair with 2 of the electric heaters hanging off the wall. The toilet was dirty and there were stains on the floor. Walls and doors were damaged and filthy as were the blinds in the rooms. There was also a bag of dirty laundry outside the front door. There was no welcome pack or information about the area. Both bedside lamps did not have bulbs. The check in required photo ID to be sent which was not...

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location
"The hotel is in a lovely position overlooking a river and fields with balcony seating, perfect for the time we stayed there as we had lovely sunny weather. The only criticism was that the fan in the bathroom wasn’t working and the hairdryer also stopped working however these have been reported and were being looked into. We paid extra for breakfast which we enjoyed but the coffee wasn’t very nice at all and is served out of metal jugs. A coffee machine would be better which most hotels now use when it is a self-service set up."
