"This is an old school, charming hotel. In a great part of Toulouse. Staff are excellent. I made the error of not realizing that they do not have an elevator. But the front desk staff without being prompted, offered to carry my bag to my room. Given my challenges with the stairs, this was much appreciated. I take responsibility for not knowing that there was no elevator."

"Tucked away in a side street just behind Jean D’Arc bus station. A quiet location with the hub of Toulouse a 2 minute walk away. Metro and Bus hub and Place du Capitole a 10 minute walk away. Good friendly staff. The room was cleaned every day and was immaculate albeit a bit on the small side. Perfect for me anyway!"

Unfortunately it was pouring rain when we were there so we didn't get to walk from the hotel as much as we wanted but we still appreciated how close the hotel was to many dining and shopping options. The entire environment from the rooms to the restaurant are welcoming and vibrant. The staff is exceptional at Mama Shelter Toulouse. Highly recommend for a budget conscious, super cool stay. "

"Beautiful older hotel property in the heart of Toulouse. Great location if you won't have a car because the entire City core is accessible on foot or by public transportation. Very walkable neighborhood for dining, drinking, or shopping. The less tourist oriented neighborhoods are a 20 minute walk. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed for an older hotel. Very nice bed. Fantastic, helpful and friendly staff will take very good care of you."
