"A very nice "on the budget" option that is close to both the train stations and all the major attractions. The staff is nice and generally responsive. The only problem we had was related to the general condition of the property. While the room itself was clean, there was a terrible smell coming from the shower stall (which was masked initially by a huge amount of air freshener spray). When we informed the staff of this problem, they called a plumber, who said the said it was a major problem...

At the time my friend and I wanted the “nicest” cheap place, which this is. But honestly would’ve chose somewhere else to stay, especially in Florence. Sharing the bathroom we weren’t expecting but finding the place near the train station was easy and using the door codes. Clean room. "

"It was an amazing stay. The hotel was near attractions and the train station plus plenty of food options nearby. The room was huge with a lovely view of the Cathedral, clean and equipped with the necessary amenities. Stefano & Madelina were wonderful hosts. Stefano was really helpful checking on updates when there was a train strike the day we were leaving Florence. We will be returning to Relais Luce when we visit Florence again in the future. "
