"Perfect for a lone traveller with some mobility issues to have a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor. Useful supplies of milk, tea coffee and a Nespresso machine. Toiletries supplied for the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept well. A guide book to the cottage contained lots of useful information to the cottage and surrounding area. It was a very relaxing couple of days and I hope to be back next year. Thank you Claire for making it so pleasant."

"Property is well equipped and comfortable, in a stunning location at the bottom of the valley. Beautiful walks from the door. Visiting the on-site and fascinating Vindolanda roman ruins and museum is an absolute must when visiting here (this is not dog friendly). Would highly recommend this property for anybody looking for great walks from the front door, a pub reasonably close (around 30 mins walk on very quiet road) with great food and dog friendly (Twice Brewed Inn), a cosy woodburner for...

"I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."
