"It's a great place to stay in Courtenay. This former, Holiday Inn Express is clean and comfortable with a generous free breakfast. We've stayed many times, recently and when it was a Holiday Inn. Our only complaint are the smart TVs in the rooms. They have many options for connecting your own device or signing in to your personal favorite subscribed movie channel but the basic cable TV menu is almost impossible to navigate. "The staff are absolutely lovely. The property as a whole is great. I think we were perhaps in an older room, just a bit worn in, but kept clean etc. The restaurant on property has a decent selection and the food is delicious. The spa staff and services are also quite good. We'd definitely consider coming back."

"This cottage was delightful - even in the winter - with the big picture window. We brought our own coffee, but there were no coffee filters or French press in the kitchen. However, there was coffee provided, which was weak filter pack coffee. It did the trick - first world problem!"

Shelter Pt. a 10min walk to this beautiful park with a fabulous beach

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay."
