"Close to bus stop on Hatton-Avissawella road. Faded glory, but very pleasant dining area, lobby and lawn overlooking river in which you can swim- but carefully as in the middle it flows fast. Non AC rooms are large with effective fan. Lots of whitewater rafting in area. You are in lowland so can be very warm."

"Royal Majesty Bungalow was the most unique place we stayed on our 20 day trip through Sri Lanka. The hotel is the 6th oldest plantation house built in Sri Lanka and converted into a couple of room bed-and-breakfast type place. If you enjoy history this is a great place to stay.
