"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"I would have given this five stars but it is extremely expensive to stay in this house and while we were actually quite happy to not have Wifi or indeed phone reception, we were frustrated and disappointed to be told we couldn't use the superior Wifi connection in the café. There should be somewhere to download things and send the odd email for half an hour with a decent connection. "

"It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Even the beds are comfy! It is beautifully clean and well presented; my adult daughter said she would like to live there herself. "When searching for a property near to Bakewell my priority was a property all on one level due to disabilities as well as taking dogs. This was perfect. A stunning rural location close to amenities as well as travelling distance to surrounding areas, Bakewell, Castleton etc. The cottage was beautifully warm and cosy with comfortable beds, 1 double and 2 bunk beds and well equiped kitchen etc. The location was stunning, mill stream running in front of the cottage, a pond with a meadow to watch...
