Stay on Kentucky Lake at this First Floor Condo

Spectacular lakefront Condo with private dock!
This first floor condo is the perfect retreat. The condo has 3 large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. An open kitchen, dining, relaxing space with a pool table, and a den with wood fireplace.

During your stay, enjoy your huge patio space, the dock and the private boat ramp. Swimming and kayaking is amazing from the dock in this sheltered cove at the mouth of Big Cambridge Bay overlooking the main channel of Kentucky Lake. The condo is situated on the first floor of a two story home. My family reserves the upstairs for our personal use.

Enjoy your morning cup of coffee in the fully equipped kitchen while watching the sunrise over Kentucky Lake. Challenge your friends and family to a game of pool and serve snacks and drinks at the large island with seating for four. After a fun day on the lake, throw your towels in the washer and kick back on the two full size sofas in the den to catch-up on Netflix. Then retire to one of the three large bedrooms, each with a queen bed and private lavatory.

I truly hope you enjoy your time at Kentucky Lake and look forward to doing anything I can to make that more memorable.

Lovely Lake Kentucky retreat!!
Great peaceful place to visit with family. This place had everything we needed and then some. The only downside of this weekend was the dead fish smell from the dead fish that came into the cove by the house which is not something the owners can control but hindered us being on the water. Overall highly recommend this place!!

Lake house getaway
This was really a wonderful space right on lake Kentucky for our family of 4 to stay in for a weekend. There was a pool table, 4 kayaks, and a small dock. Also Paducah is not far. As a result there was plenty to do! Highly recommend.

Great stay- wish it was a warmer weekend!
This stay was perfect for us to meet up with family. I can see that in warmer weather, this would be a fun time. There's a dock and boat slip. Both have swimming ladders. We did make great use of the pool table.

Great Lake Condo
The property owner and family were super helpful and friendly. The property was perfect for our dual family of 8. We loved the large kitchen to have even more family members at the lake over to celebrate 4th of July. We enjoyed the kayak adventures on the lake and our 4 day/night stay. We will be back for sure! Great lake get away.

We came down for a quick getaway with our 2 adult children. It was the perfect setting; quiet and peaceful for a much needed recharge. Pool table was great for the family and Kimberly was a great host offering us the use of kayaks. Beautiful sun sets and sunrises

Condo on the Lake
We enjoyed getting together somewhere in the middle for our families. This place was spacious enough so we didn't feel crowded. The pool table was a definite bonus as it rained about every day. We loved fishing off the dock and caught a variety of fish and a few unwanted turtles:) Overall, this property was not worth what we paid in that there were so many cleanliness issues and things that we felt were overlooked or not provided upon the arrival of guests for a week. Disappointed after driving 9 hours to get there but again loved our visit with family.

It's ok, but....
This is a walk-out basement. The row of windows pictured are all that are present. Two of the bedrooms are basically underground. The two half-baths are literally in closets. If you know what you are walking into it's a pleasant enough space, but highly unusual and can't possibly be up to code.

Awesome Stay!
This is our first stay here but it was absolutely worth it. The cabin is in very good shape and has plenty of room. There were eight of us and even though the kids slept on the couches, everyone was comfortable. Big thanks to Kimberly also for prompt communications prior to our visit. Oh, when you see a black Lab his name is Nimbus and he's a good boy. Give him a scratch or two.

Beautiful views - furnishings are very subpar.
My issue…the condition of this Condos’ furniture was extremely worn (like you would find in a college frat house). The outdoor furniture was very basic. The carpet was old and very stained. Kitchen was nice. TV..very old, and basic, and remote took forever to work. Mattress in main bed room/ 3rd bedroom need replaced. My feeling, when you’re investing 200 a night, it should be nicer. We have rented homes all over the world…I was saddened by this experience. Kim was very responsive to our information requests. So, I’m conflicted…

Great Get A Way
Great Host. The private dock on this lake front property was a great added benefit. Plenty of parking for vehicles/boat trailer. Everything was clean and spacious. The only negative is that I was unable to get the TV in my bedroom to function (and it was probably just me). But then it is a moot point because once I hit the bed I was out like a light.

The View Was AWESOME!!!
We stayed here for a weekend get-away. The overall stay was good. It has snowed before we went so the frozen lake was a true beauty. There was 6 adults and 2 children so there was more than enough space and the bed were comfortable. The pictures were exact to the actual property. The bottom floor of the home is what you are renting. The owners were friendly and helpful. There was a pretty big pot hole in the driveway. The septic tank wasn't very friendly, we were afraid to flush the commodes. I really enjoyed the overall experience and I would stay there again for the $125/night rate.

Great Lake Getaway!
We stayed at the house for a girls getaway for one night. The cabin was very nice! We ran into Kimberley the next morning and she was super nice! She was great at communicating, we just didn’t need anything so we didn’t interact much. We had 7 people and all slept comfortably. I would definitely recommend. A few things to note...if you are coming at night, it can seem a little creepy with no lights. You may want to bring a flashlight. Also, read the directions about which drive to use. We got a little confused. The kitchen is well stocked except we couldn’t find a corkscrew so you may want to bring your own. Thanks Kimberly for letting us stay!

Creepy and disturbing
There was a very strong, unpleasant odor, in the bathrooms and property owners live in the upstairs condo that was dirty, cluttered and unkempt. The husband was on the upper deck watching as we fished on the dock with random sounds of a skill saw resonating across the back deck. Pictures of the property looked nice and the pool table was an appealing plus, but it was falling apart and dock and yard was not as pleasant as it promised. Only positive was the owners dog was adorable and our little pup enjoyed playing with him.

Wonderful Week!
Originally reserved for Spring Break, but COVID-19 had other plans. The owner could not have been nicer and offered either a refund or reschedule. We chose to reschedule knowing we'd want something to look forward to! No trouble finding the place. Location tucked back in a cove was perfect! Our dog got along well with the owner's dog. The owners were very nice and personable, and their 3 children were adorable and well-behaved. The property had plenty of space and was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars on description of location was because I didn't realize the owners lived upstairs full time. That did not diminish our stay at all, and even made it better in some ways! (After months of quarantine and remote learning, it was nice to see our daughter actually getting to play with some other kids!) It only rained once and we made good use of the pool table. 🙂 Overall, we had a great, relaxing week and would definitely recommend this property! Thanks Kim and Josh!
