"The only thing we did not like was the bed. We thought we had a queen or king bed. It was a double bed only. Comfortable but we needed more room. Did not sleep well for fear of falling off the bed. The tv remote system and directions for use was a joke. Had to call for assistance and the 2nd room we reserved for my sister didn’t have correct remote in room to operate the tv. "

"Our experience at Lake Barkley resort State Park was excellent. The food was amazing and the great prices were a nice surprise. The rooms were really nice, the bed was comfortable, The view of the lake was amazing. The only negative was that there was a lot of construction going on and there were not signs telling you where you were and how to get to where you needed to go. When we drove up, it was very difficult to find the door to go in because of all the construction and the lack of instruction with signs. I’m sure that will be better when it’s all finished, however, it could be better now and eliminate a lot of confusion to people who have never been there before. But overall, it was an excellent place to visit and stay and we will definitely come back."
