"Felt like we had our own little apartment in the heart of Ghent. Was clean and had a nice "Honesty Bar" where you could grab drinks and snacks and just write down what you took to pay at the end. Also had free food (bread, eggs, meat, cheese, etc.) which was nice to make a quick sandwich. Close to everywhere you'd want to go. Recommend!"

"Very convenient location, walkable to everywhere in Ghent. Really nice room, properly heated and brand new toilet and shower. Recommend "

"Luxurious B&B, very tranquil, clean, quiet, nice modern rooms. Belgian beers & wine available at democratic prices. Owner couple runs this B&B and have gradually expanded it over the past 12 years to now 15 rooms. We stayed in the Superior Room type which seems try largest one and is the size of a studio with separate sitting area. Breakfast served in common area but otherwise no restaurant on-site. Biking and walking trails nearby. Highly recommended for a quiet stay near Dendermonde. "

"Fabulous Place, Spotlessly clean, Lovely people and made you fell at home -Fully recommend it"

"We had an amazing time here, such a lovely place and really warm despite it being winter! The breakfast was amazing, a basket of goodies to tuck into with all the required utilities in the kitchenette. Parking was great with an option for EV charging. The city centre was just 10 minutes away by foot and very easy to find. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Cimbarsaca. The owner/host Luce was very gracious and accommodating, and also spoke perfect English. The property and our room were very clean, in immaculate condition, and well appointed. We could not have asked for a more comfortable accommodation. We would highly recommend B&B Cimbarsaca."

"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood to the north Ghent's center; while not an overly interesting location in itself, the house was near a tram line which made for an easy trip to most of the central sights of the city, and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood at all times of the day. "Arrived to find the hotel and restaurant closed with all lights off. I called the hotel to be told that Expedia had cancelled but I had a confirmation email that morning. I suspect we had the only room booked so the owner didn’t want to open."

"Incredible location! Perfect for our first trip to Ghent. Plenty of space for two of us (adults). The bathroom glass makes privacy an issue if you are not a couple, and as noted on many other reviews, the shower gets water all over the glory. Those small bathroom issues would not sway us from staying here again though. We loved the property and the vibe of the place. They have done an incredible job with preserving it. I highly recommend this as a place to call home during a Ghent visit."

"We had a nice stay , the location was perfect, very close to canals, markets. A 10 min walk to tram 1 or 3 takes you to the station. It says it’s 1st floor, but it’s up a flight. It’s huge space, comfy bed. Only negative was not enough TP , towels not enough for 4 days, and no internet. I did chat with support, no issues were resolved. But it didn’t hamper our stay"

Excellent location

"The hotel's greatest plus is it's location, right next to the cathedral. We were a group of 8, in 4 twin rooms and it served our needs perfectly. We opted for breakfast in the second morning which was value for money, with some hot options as well as cold."
