"Sadhana is a very special place. I went as a single traveler woman in my 50s from the US. I spent 3 days here learning meditation, yoga, and being served the best and freshest food I have had in Nepal. My room had a huge window on 2 sides, so although it was very hot down by the lake, up at Sadhana, it was fairly cool and breezy so sleeping in the fresh white sheets was very comfortable. The view of the lake from my room was gorgeous. And if you happen to be a bird nerd like me, you will be in heaven seeing and hearing so many amazing birds in the trees right outside your window. Use your trusty Merlin app with Nepal downloaded on your phone and you will be amazed at the variety of birds you are hearing. The staff/family at Sadhana was so welcoming and kind. I highly recommend this retreat."

"This is the third time coming to the Nar Bis Hotel and I have never been disappointed. SANTOSH and his lovely family are so kind and generous.The hotel is alittle way out of main Pokhara but well worth the walk ,taxi or bus into town as it is so peaceful and with such amazing views over the lake.There are little shops around for necessities and a couple of really chilled out beach bars a few meters away.The rooms are large and very comfortable and each has a balcony with the best views ever.Free bananas home grown on arrival and Santosh even drove me back into town when I set off on a trek and wouldnt accept any payment..if you want a bit of peace and quiet away from the bustling town this definitely worth checking out."

"The establishment upholds commendable standards, yet it is essential to consider its secluded location, the elevated prices of food available on the premises, and its geographic setting in Nepal. Bearing these aspects in mind, I contend that a justifiable rate per night would be capped at $100 USD. Should the cost exceed this threshold as it was at over 200USD , I would anticipate a comprehensive package inclusive of all amenities and services. "
